PURCHASE OPTIONS CANCELLATION POLICY

Some products offered by STAAR LABS may be available as subscription-based purchases, pre-orders, or other recurring billing arrangements.
This Purchase Options Cancellation Policy explains how these purchase types work and how you may cancel or modify them.
SUBSCRIPTIONS
How Subscriptions Work
When you purchase a subscription product:
- You will receive recurring deliveries based on the frequency you select (e.g., monthly, bi-monthly, etc.).
- Your payment method will be securely stored and automatically charged at the selected interval.
- Subscriptions continue until canceled.
The total charge for each recurring shipment will be displayed at checkout prior to purchase.
Automatic Renewal Disclosure (California ARL Compliance)
By purchasing a subscription, you acknowledge and agree that:
- Your subscription will automatically renew at the selected billing frequency.
- Your payment method will be charged automatically unless you cancel.
- The recurring charge amount and frequency are disclosed prior to checkout.
- You may cancel at any time as described below.
This automatic renewal disclosure is provided in compliance with applicable state laws, including California’s Automatic Renewal Law (Bus. & Prof. Code §17600 et seq.).
How to Cancel or Modify a Subscription
You may cancel or modify your subscription at any time by:
- Logging into your customer account, or
- Using the subscription management link provided in your order confirmation email, or
- Contacting us at info@staarlabs.com.
To avoid being charged for the next renewal period, cancellations must be submitted at least 48 hours before your next billing date.
If cancellation is requested after billing has occurred, the order will be processed under our Return & Refund Policy.
Failed Payments
If a recurring charge fails:
- We may retry the payment method.
- Subscription shipments may be delayed or canceled.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate the subscription.
PRE-ORDERS
If you purchase a product marked as a pre-order:
- The item may not yet be in inventory.
- We may collect full payment, partial payment, or store your payment method at checkout.
- The remaining balance (if applicable) may be charged when the product becomes available.
Pre-orders may be canceled at any time prior to fulfillment.
Once fulfilled and shipped, pre-orders are subject to our Return & Refund Policy.
TRY BEFORE YOU BUY (IF OFFERED)
If a “Try Before You Buy” option is offered:
- Your payment method may be authorized prior to shipment.
- You will be given a specified evaluation period.
- If the item is not returned within the evaluation window, your payment method will be charged.
Returned items must comply with our Return & Refund Policy.
CHARGEBACKS
Initiating a chargeback without first attempting cancellation through the methods described above may constitute a violation of our Terms of Service.
We reserve the right to dispute improper chargebacks and restrict future purchases.
POLICY CHANGES
We may update this Purchase Options Cancellation Policy at any time.
Continued participation in a subscription constitutes acceptance of any updated terms.
